Super-Bowl Sunday is sweeter than ever at Sweetpeas...

 

Make this sweet candy cone lined with vintage bluebirds and adorned with a glittery bauble. Excuse my sample but the wonderful die-cut is at the store...

Oh, and so is my camera. But I think you get the picture, the make-n-take will be from 12pm-2pm...then treat yourselves with a little shopping at 40% off.

The big news is that Sweetpeas and Snapshots will be open again Monday through Friday 10:00am-3pm, Saturdays 11:00am-5:00pm and Sunday 12:00pm-4:00pm.

Starting Saturday, February 7th.

We will be carrying mostly vintage items, clothing, wallpaper, novelties with a few new items sprinkled in...but most of all I will always be the person to meet you at the door just like the good old days...

Please feel free to come hang out as I will be doing some side projects while I'm there, mostly getting my creative groove back.

That's right I will be open with a huge 40% sale on everything in the store. If that's not enough  we will be making a free  Valentine's Make-n-take, you can stop by to use my new Accu-cut. Scallops and all. You can come by and just scrap. I will post picture of project tomorrow and making a big announcement about a full time Sweetpeas for all my gal pals.

Huge Sweetpeas Garage Sale

For all you local gals, I will be having a Garage Sale, Saturday, January 31st. 9:00am-2pm  of my beautiful mess.

 

 A lot of the old stoves and big pieces will be a deal...

Plus I have a closet full of goodies that I will be selling as well. Please come by, hang out and have a pink lemonade with me. The address is 1306 Marine Street, Santa Monica ,90405 at my lovely nest I call home.

La Maison Rustique Barn Sale..Tomorrow!

So excited, Another joy fest with all my buddies. Sherry and Linda are throwing down  a glittery Glamerella Junk Fest tomorrow.

 

 Of course Sweetpeas will be in the house with vintage paper packs and some new one of a kind Vintage Silk jackets...So Bo-Ho chic...Can you stand it?

Girlfriends, Great Store and the Smell of Papier...

What more do we long for?

Last Saturday was a complete Fun-fest. First to have my girl, Tricia here in town was enough excitement.

Top it off with pulling up and seeing my sparkly souls:

Hey, It matches mine and Tricia's Cristal Champagne...in Holiday Inn's finest cups...

Deb ( which I have decided her name means this )...

 D- Divine integrity , E-Everlasting smile and friendship, B-Beautiful Soul...

Tamerie, Joy, Jane and of course Miss Michelle and her store full of goodies....

I was just in heaven. Tricia is one of the best teachers I have ever seen teach. Her patience is endless...especially when you have a rebel in the class like me.

The class ended with such wonderful creations from everyone and of course..I shopped and shopped...Oh, just forget I have my own store...I need more of course. Michele honored me by telling me that Sweetpeas was a huge inspiration for her store. Thank You. Michele works so hard and the store shows it...here are a few pics....

Once again I want to say Thank you for all the love and support you gals give me everyday...I read each and every comment and your e-mails.

They have given me so much strength...I promise I will think of all your stories of encouragement when I need them...I will also get back to you personally to thank you...

I know who most of my lovelies are ...but for those who shared without knowing me, that takes a caring soul...

Here is a beautiful picture for all my glittery gypsies...I took it yesterday and remembered the strength you gave me....

  ...Now that is a blessing. YUM

I think I forgot to mention to you I am kicking the Diet Coke habit...

Wish me luck or at least that I don't end up in prison for assault on a patron ahead of me in Starbuck's line.

Our first La Maison Rustique Barn Sale is January 23 & 24...9:30 - 5:00

We have gathered some Fabulous Vintage Goodies...The staff has some great plans ahead this year...

If you haven't experienced this "Monthly Event " you will want to put this on your Calender this year!

Once a month we will offer "Vintage Inspired" Art Classes on Sundays...We have some Talented Designers Booked here at the Barn.Starting in February....Which be taught by one of our designers here at " La Maison Rustique " Rita Reade. This Class is now FULL...Don't worry I know Rita will teach again soon....

Our next Class will be in MARCH..Taught by the One Gal that has such a Passion in this Art World!

Mary Smilove of "Sweet Peas And Snapshots" Details on this Class will be announced Jan.23 rd...Plus she will be joining us here this month at the Barn on Sat.the 24th she will have her " Vintage Eye Candy " to share....

Tomorrow is the Big Day....

The Giannetti's are having their beautiful Beach home shot for "C" magazine. 

Only one of the hottest mags in town.

 Nobody deserves this more than Miss Brooke and Steve...

They work so hard and are so talented.

Where do I fit in ? The Stylist.

Well...We have been planting ,fluffing , moving furniture and making this fabulous home even more Fab...if that's possible.

I was at the flower mart early this morning (so bummed I forgot my camera!)

Spring has sprung in L.A.....I bought divine tulips , hydrangeas and white daffodils to style the house with. I will most certainly take my camera tomorrow to catch all the action...Have a beautiful day...may you encounter a tulip or two....
