Wow, what an amazing weekend....Miss Jane , Deb Hodge, April and Melanie pulled off the most beautiful Retreat and Market. I am so proud that I was a part of it.
Deb's bags she made for the retreat...I love it!
I first arrived Friday night to help all the ladies set up. Julie Haymaker-Thomas was teaching two workshops over the weekend. Miss Julie is a heavenly soul...SOOOO talented and calm all at the same time.
Here are the candy bars I made for "The Sand Castle Sirens"...
First I wrapped the bar with sandpaper and then used my favorite rubberstamp ever....Below are a few little comforts I created for Jane's guests....The snuggly socks were a hit!
Once the Market got started it was so much fun being with my friends, Tricia, Joy, Deb, Sherry, Linda, Kristen, Jessi....
Of course I was right next to my Gypsy Soul Sister, Tricia...Can you tell how much fun we have together?
The lady of the hour...Miss Jane, such a beauty Queen!
My Bohemian Canivale of Wares....
The most rewarding part is that the weekend was for a great cause.
But spending quality girlfriend time with gals I don't get to see all the time meant the world to me...
XOXO Mary

Love the last photo I title it "after all was said and done" Oh and- Hey sweets !! those candy bars all decorated where such a huge hit. Fights almost broke out over them as 3 last minute sign ups for class had no candy bars!!! . Not to worry I added extra goodies to their class kits to make up for the big loss. Hugs Julie

Hello,
I've been following your blog for some time & sent 2 messages to you on your sweetpeasandsnapshots.com site, but never received a response. I'd like to purchase the "Dance to Your Own Tune" kit if it is available. Please let me know if so. Thank you.

What a wonderful event!
You are such a clever girl wrapping your candy bars in sand paper. I placed that idea in the ole style file~my brain. :)
