My Sweet cousin from "HOT-lanta" is spending Spring break with the kids and I.
Sandy was and is my inspiration. She would visit me in Baltimore when I was a bit younger than her. Style and smile for days!
Her bell bottom pants and rabbit fur jacket, she was the icon of that cool 1970's chick, adventurous, beautiful and smart!
...I can remember watching her leave each time knowing I wanted to be just like her...
I hope I am. Sandy is brave and strong.

GYpSy Caravan....Friday. April 9th
Friday, April 9th, 6:00pm ...Tricia will be stopping her Caravan at "Sweetpeas" to create this keepsake house built for us traveling Gypsies!
This is just the start of a 3 day weekend if you want to join...
Friday, April 9th beginning at 6pm Tricia will have her class until 9pm. The fee is $55.00.
After we create this beauty (plus I have another project up my sleeve) we will leave for my house for a Gypsy-Curry One Pot Meal while we enjoy a live guitarist around the fire at my bungalow...
I am actually building a caravan attached to my 1954 truck for us to dine in...SuPeR fun!
Plenty of room in this Gypsy's house to spend the night and head out Saturday morning to Miss Lori Chandler's heaven, "Vignettes" in San Diego to meet with Rachel Ashwell, creator of "Shabby Chic"....
Spend the day in a lovely setting getting to know this design/lifestyle guru. "Vignettes" fees apply.
Jump back in the caravan home to Santa Monica for a lovely evening of shopping and dining where we will get to bed early and head for the world famous "Rose Bowl" Flea Market to pick up some sparklies, dusties and GYpSy treasure....
Transportation back from the "Rose Bowl" is up to you or you may join us to end the weekend...
It will be a weekend of fun, friendship and laughter...

Saturday Morning it's off to "Vignettes" in San Diego to spend the morning with Miss Lori Chandler and Rachel Ashwell Creator of "Shabby Chic", by Invitation only...
Out to dinner for a festive end to an inspiring day.
Back to Los Angeles where we will be spending the night to wake up with the birdies to go to the Rose Bowl Flea Market...
